LARRY RICKETTS

For SunRiver’s new PGA golf pro, his ties to the sport have taken a unique path over the various chapters of his life. In the past Larry Ricketts played golf recreationally, but decided to turn his love for the game into a new career just five years ago by becoming a PGA golf pro.

JIMMY BLAIR

Jim Blair, through his company, Addiction Golf, LLC, is in charge of Golf Operations at the Golf Course at SunRiver St. George. Jim has tremendous experience in managing golf courses across Utah.  Jimmy is the person who keeps the fairways green, the greens true, and the course beautiful.

Jim as competed in four Senior PGA National Championships.  He tied for 33rd in 2009 ,placed 15th in 2008, tied for 25th in 2007, and tied for 29th in 2005.  He has also competed in six PGA Championships, with his best finish coming in 1986, where he finished in 65th, and has competed in 10 PGA Professional National Championships, with his best finish was tied for 6th in 2001.

Jim is a PGA Life Member, whose best finish in the PGA Professional National Championship was a tie for 6th in 2001.   He was named the Utah PGA Player of the Year in 1987 and 2000.  His winnings include the Utah Amateur Championship in 1974; the Wyoming Open in  1983, 1984, 1987, 1990; the Utah open in 1983; and the Colorado Open in 1987.
